I am not the first to complain about this place and I won't be the last. I went to this nursery for the owner Bob's advice, which is wonderful, and the plants, which can be interesting. However, many are grown elsewhere and shipped in, and there is a no-return policy regardless. Not good, especially given how over-priced the plants are! And the parking stinks!
There used to be a staffer named Colin who was also great to talk to but he is gone now. Having said that, there are two immature staff members in their 40s there whose behavior is CONSISTENTLY rude and just downright appalling, and unfortunately one happens to be one of the owner's sons and the other looks like an extra from Mad Max, and is another son. That one is really arrogant! They both seem to think they can act and say whatever they want to a customer, no matter how obnoxious, and in any other company they would have been fired years ago-and indeed, with those attitudes, been hard pressed to find a job at all. It is because of them I will not go back . I feel bad for the rest of the staff also, having to work with these jerks. Better to keep on driving down the same road to much bigger Plants of the Southwest-a fantastic place with a great selection of locally grown native plants, nice staff, and a yummy restaurant well worth seeking out.
